Your Instructor

Kalli Siamidou was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. She is a pontian greek dancer and choreographer. She was raised in a musical environment as her father is the famous lyra player Kostas Siamidis.

She moved to NYC in 2015 to continue her dance studies. After a few year in New York she decided to stay and eventually opened a dance studio Cucala Dance Company in Long Island City with her partners.

She started dancing greek folk from a very young age. After joining Asters Dance Studio in Thessaloniki, she learned zeibekiko and hasapiko and performed with a group of dancers in event spaces in Thessaloniki and a festival in Istanbul.

She has a bachelor in Physical Education and Sports Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
